To reflect these commitments and guide investment in cycling, the department of Economic Development, Jobs Transport and Resources is updating Victoria’s cycling strategy and developing a new cycling action plan.

This workshop will provide you with the opportunity to tell us your ideas about how to make cycling safer and get more people riding a bike.

In particular we are seeking your views on how to strenghten the following elements of Victoria's cycling strategy:

  • Encouraging cycling participation.
  • Improving cyclists safety.
  • Promoting the health benefits of cycling.
  • Highlighting the environmental benefits of cycling.
  • Growing cycle tourism in regional Victoria.
  • Planning networks and prioritising investment.

Local government is an important partner in promoting and making cycling safer in Victoria. Please join us for this invite-only, facilitated workshop especially for local government and help shape the future of bike riding in Victoria.

This session is a fantastic way to provide feedback during consultation on Victoria’s cycling strategy.
